Commencement Gonfalons

The university's spring 2024 commencement ceremonies are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16 for graduate degrees and certificates of advanced graduate study, and 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18 for undergraduate degrees. The ceremonies will stream live on Fitchburg Access Television at fatv.org/fsu.

Ticketing Information

The Graduate Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 16 is a ticketed event. Graduates may reserve up to four (4) guest tickets for the ceremony. No guests will be admitted to the ceremony without presenting a printed or mobile ticket at the door.

To reserve your guest tickets (graduates only), follow the steps below (we recommend using a Chrome browser if you have problems logging in on a mobile device): 

  1. Browse to fitchburggradtickets.universitytickets.com 
  2. Select the Log in / Register drop-down in the upper right corner. 
  3. Select Student Login, then log in using your full student email address as your username and your Falcon Key password. If you don’t know your Falcon Key, please call the Technology Help Desk at 978-665-4500. 
  4. Select the GET TICKETS button. 
  5. On the right side, select the number of tickets (up to four) you plan to reserve for your guest(s), then select Get Ticket. 
  6. Select Checkout to complete your guest ticket reservation. 
  7. On the next page, choose your ticket delivery method: 
    1. For PDF tickets, select Download All PDF E-Tickets. 
    2. For mobile E-Tickets, select Send All Mobile Tickets, then enter your mobile number when prompted. 

To enter the Athletics and Recreation Center, each guest will be required to present their physical ticket or E-Ticket on their mobile device.  

The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 18 will not require tickets if the event is held outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, however, the ceremony will be moved to the Athletics and Recreation Center and a four-ticket limit will be in effect. Graduates are strongly encouraged to reserve their tickets in advance, as a precaution (using same steps above).
